FIRST OFFENSE DUI/DWAI

DUI

• A minimum sentence of 5 days in jail, which can be suspended.
• $600 fine and 48 hours of community service.
• If your BAC is 0.20 or higher, there is a mandatory minimum 10 day jail sentence which CANNOT be suspended.

DWAI

• A minimum 2 days in jail, which a judge may suspend.
• $200 fine and 24 hours of useful public service
• BAC is 0.20 or higher, a mandatory minimum 10 day jail sentence which CANNOT be suspended.

SECOND OFFENSE DUI/DWAI

DUI and DWAI

• Mandatory 10 day jail sentence (must be served day for day)
• $600 fine and 48 hours of useful public service
• 2 years probation

THree OR more dui/DWAI

DUI and DWAI

• At least 60 days in jail (day for day)
• $600 fine and 48 hours of useful public service
• 2 years probation
